Terms of Business

The CFOP & Landscape-UK is an alliance of tree growers and foresters working to improve our environment by planting trees in the UK and Topical Rainforests.

£0.20 of every planted forestry tree and hedgerow plant is assigned to UK school and community renewable energy project installations, these will predominantly be solar panels where by the electricity generated will be free of charge to the user but where any surplus is fed back into the national grid under the Feed In Tariff the CFOP & Landscape-UK utilise to fund the CFOP & Landscape-UK on-going woodland creation, maintenance and UK project development to ensure the woodlands we plant on your behalf are in compliance yielding the timber from which an extensive range of bi-products are produced that we use daily and so often take for granted.

All UK sponsored forestry trees will be planted creating new community woodlands within the requested county or the closet proximity to that of the requested county.

CFOP & Landscape-UK has taken every effort and reasonable care to ensure that information is accurate at the time it was added to this website.

CFOP & Landscape-UK is not liable for any incorrect or misrepresented information on this web site.

The material and information contained within this website or provided by CFOP & Landscape-UK is for your personal use.

In the calculation of the number of trees required to offset ones carbon emissions, CFOP & Landscape-UK has used the estimation that on average one British native Broad-leaved tree will offset 700kg of Carbon Dioxide during its full-lifetime of approximately 100 years.

Trees and Hedgerow plantings will be allocated a planting site within 72 hours of being sponsored, with the planting undertaken during the dormancy period, that primarily being November to March with the exception of containerised stock.

The forestry trees planted will be of native provenance broad-leaved trees. We are in many cases unable to offer particular species or varieties as our planting, planning and strategies evolve around the geographical location and surrounding habitat.

CFOP & Landscape-UK community and woodlands tree planting projects where pupils are planting trees accept no liabilities and cannot be held accountable for personal injury or damage to property unless the project is supervised and overseen by an employee of the CFOP & Landscape-UK on site at the time of planting.

Trees for Schools is an additional planting project whereby every twelfth forestry tree we plant on your behalf directly sponsors a tree planted by school pupils into school grounds or community projects with the exception of any National special rated forestry plantings i.e National Tree Week Appeal. Where we do operate the sponsorship of additional trees planted by school pupils and with the exception of the Fruit Trees for Schools project it must fit the criteria where a minimum of 25 native trees or woody shrubs can be planted to create a new wildlife haven and form part of the "Forest" learning ethos.

Fruit Trees for Schools will be delivered out by R & N Plant Specialists to participating pre registered schools commencing National Tree Week through to March annually

So we retain our highly competitive planting edge over and above other similar planting schemes and not become embroiled with UK School and Community Energy Project applications and administration costs we work closely with a select group of renewable energy planners and installation companies who themselves know of the meaningful projects that would benefit from such sponsorship here in the UK with up to £60,000 being awarded to any single project.

All monies must be paid in full prior to any trees planted and certificates mailed out to recipients and will be banked through the project management team and company R & N Plant Specialists.
