Why Plant Trees -

Plants, in particular trees and hedgerows are the green lungs of our planet naturally sequestering and locking up those CO₂ emissions.

Carbon is not in itself a bad thing - it is the foundation of all organic life and living organisms wouldn't exist without it. Unfortunately CO₂ is also the largest single element in global warming. By working a sustainably managed biodiversity we reduce excesses of CO₂ in the atmosphere and protect the living organisms and life on planet earth as we know it today.

Britain makes up just 2% of the worlds global CO₂ emissions and has the least wooded acreage in Europe. The planting of trees and hedgerows is now at its lowest level here in the UK so we appeal to everyone to support our work in redressing the balance of nature. We want to create a sustainable 21st century biodiversity and a legacy that can be passed on to future generations.

Tree or hedgerow planting projects are very often perceived as expensive. But this is not the case as we offer you today’s alternative and most progressive affordable national forestry and hedgerow plantings to green up the UK. Combined, we are a team focused on phase1 planting 20m forestry trees and 2020 miles of new hedgerows throughout the UK during the next decade, with a classification of affordable planting options. Our commercial native provenance forestry production beds to the right underlines the volumes which we grow of each native tree species annually that will be lifted, graded and planted out during dormancy creating new woodlands and forests across the UK.
